Once all women had to wear a corset and never wear pants, and today it is not always possible to say with certainty from which closet - male or female - a person is wearing a particular piece of clothing. Today we realize more than ever that the word "experiment" best describes our ability to wear a particular garment and there is no need to indulge in any trend too strictly.

However, to simplify self-identification in the context of "I wear clothes", or to start forming your own closet, we decided to make a concise list of what, in our opinion, should be present in any closet. These are the "eternal values" that will be appropriate in any circumstances: regardless of your occupation, mode of work, place of residence and form of employment. Such elements in your closet offer several different advantages at the same time - a large field for composing different outfits, versatility and the ability to avoid the fateful question "What to wear?".

Tote bag

No busy lady can do without a work tote (and we know how important it is to have all the essentials, phone with headphones and powerbank, keys, wallet, cosmetic bag - and that's only if you leave the house for a couple of hours, not for work all day). A travel tote bag that will hold everything you need and leave room for unexpected purchases is that base, and you can't find a better form of tote. A minimalist design, often a single compartment, sturdy handles and material that holds its shape are all you need to be at the ready in any situation. We recommend paying attention to timeless classics and favoring quality that will last you long enough and never let you down.

White canvas sneakers have long ceased to be an attribute of people who lead a sporty lifestyle. These shoes solve a lot of problems, including the daily choice of the whole look, because exactly how chic or simple you want to be today will depend on the combination of sneakers and clothes. For some time white leather trainers were not an obvious all-in-one solution, and some people were even afraid to wear light shoes, but for several years now you can't do without them neither at work, nor at shopping, nor at a party (and don't care about the wet weather outside the window). At the same time, the variability of models is amazing: you can choose not only the material from which the sneakers are made, but also whether they are tied with laces or fastened with Velcro, the height of the sole, not to mention the brands. It is not known if there is a person in the world who does not own a single pair of trouser jeans. The era of jeans has undergone many changes, but one thing is constant - if you've found your perfect pair, it's a jackpot! Of course, the most universal solution would be to buy jeans in a classic blue shade, without additional embellishments and in a style that suits your figure (these seasons are all about womens straight leg jeans). However, don't neglect small details that will translate your own sense of style, such as buttoning rather than zippers, different waist heights, and yes, the shade of the fabric too.

Today, the vast majority of people prefer comfort, and some avoid wearing heels, compensating for this fact with clothes and styles that do not require becoming "taller and more graceful". What can emphasize femininity better than a dress? It is probably the only part of the closet that has changed throughout history beyond recognition, except for one detail - the absence of pants. There are endless styles, lengths, materials and details at your disposal, going out dresses, casual dresses and more. Even if the dress seems to you something obligatory, you will still manage to find a model in which you can feel most comfortable. Dresses on the figure, or oversize, shirt dresses, closed or open, with different lengths and hems, variants of clasps - a universal model exists in any form. It is best to buy a laconic cut and pay more attention to the fit on the figure.

Pantsuit

The elegant pant suits have also gone beyond the strict conservative clothing for business negotiations. It can be styled together and separately, and color and fabric palettes give you the opportunity to stand out from the crowd in an instant. The choice can be based not only on what you will wear it with, but also where. Today's pantsuits are no longer tight-fitting, but they make sure that you look put together and thoughtful, even if the pants of your suit are palazzo and the color is neon fuchsia. Coat

A timeless classic that can be sung about forever. You know for sure that outerwear should be of high quality. This is especially important for coats, as they should be made of very good material - cashmere coat or leather coat is always a good idea. Pay attention to the cut - it should not be too tight, and the length should be comfortable for walking and sitting. Whether it's a single-breasted or double-breasted coat, Chesterfield or Dufflecoat, it should play to your strengths and protect you from the cold weather. 

Boots

Sneakers and shoes are always in demand, but if there is a noticeable change of seasons where you live, you can't do without warm footwear. Black leather boots are the perfect solution for any weather, whether it's lots of rain or dry frost and open up the possibilities for creating truly fundamental looks. You will definitely not be bored here, as the choice of height and width of the shank, as well as its shape and the way of putting on will to some extent influence what basic clothing in tandem to these ankle boots will be more. Little purse

Showing up with a bag to a date or someone's wedding is certainly possible, but it would be just a little bit weird, wouldn't it? There can be a myriad of shapes and texture combinations, but if you want it to fit most of your festive attires, the fashion investment is to get an iconic clutch bag. Prada, Chanel, Dior, Saint Laurent and others are at your service - you won't miss out. 

Sweater or turtleneck

Shirts and business style are fine, but if you want less officiousness and a little more warmth, wool sweaters and cashmere turtlenecks are great. Give preference to natural fabrics, and in styles and colors all depends solely on your preferences and imagination. Of course, monochrome options will always work in your favor, but classic prints or colorblocks are also suitable. You can experiment with collar options, neckline shapes and sleeve lengths.

Tips to follow:

Don't be afraid of color - basic shades of black and white will always come to the rescue, but classic red or noble emerald are just as good and don't commit to anything.

Do not ignore the peculiarities of your figure: even if it seems to you that a piece of closet is good only in the original style, but it does not fit you, try to look for an alternative until you feel perfect.
